There are some people on this Earth who don’t know what minecraft is. I know gamers, it sounds like if it were against the laws of reality but it’s true. (if you already know about minercaft then go outside and do something useful with your life.) Minecraft is a game about placing and destroying blocks. You can choose from a variety of modes including survival, creative, and hardcore (and amplified in version 1.7.4, and maybe even some other versions.). Survival mode is basically what it sounds like, you have to survive. It takes time to break blocks, you have hunger, you have enemies who attack you, you can die if your health gets too low. Creative mode, on the other hand, is like being a god, total awesomeness. You have infinite materials, and superpowers (potions). You are immortal, except if you either fall into the void or if you use the command: “/kill”. And you have magic, which means you can use commands, like “/time set 0”, to reset time, “/kill”, to kill yourself, and “/toggle downfall” to make it rain, no your character doesn’t do a weird rain dance, unless you make him do it. (For more commands use /help to get a list of commands). The third mode, Hardcore, is like survival mode, but more realistic (not the graphics, the rules of the game). If you die, the world you have worked so hard (or not) to create is deleted. And you don’t automatically  gain health (symbolized by hearts, unless you use a health potion). And finally  the fourth mode, amplified mode, I cant tell you, (I have no idea what it is yet J) it says “Just for fun” (You need a beefy computer, I have no idea why).
