October 21st, 2015. That's today, and it's not at all like Back To The Future.
So, today I will be making a list of things BTTF (Back to the future) had that we don't, and what we have and they don't. For starters flying cars that run on trash. -1. And hover boards. -2. We don't have that multi-chanal like super flatscreen thing. Oh, wait that was a projector on the wall? Oh, never mind. We don't have that super-pepsi-dispenser thingie that shoots pepsi cans. SODA BAZOOKA!-3.
We don't get YOU'RE FIRED letters printed directly by OUR printers through our boss's computer. -4. What we DO have though is internet, robots, touch screen, google glass, HEAD TRANSPLANTS, roller coaster simulators, and also Doctor Who. +7. RESULTS:
DO HAVE DON'T HAVE
Internet Flying cars
robots Trash motors
touch screen Hover Boards
google glass WLDYFL (wireless long distance you're fired letters)
head transplants TIME TRAVEL
roller coaster sims
Doctor Who
So yeah, we do have some pretty cool futuristic stuff, but not that wonderful can gun :'(
People always think the future will be way better that what is happening now, but will it?
People now are dreaming of holograms, flying cars and motorcycles and hover boards, people are dreaming of 4D movies, space travel, time travel, teleportation, and so much more! But, what will actually come to be? Will the future be as wonderful as we think? Will something just destroy civilization? Will we settle other world and meet alien creatures? What do YOU think?
Let me know in the comments :-D

I was just notified that the WLDYFL is called a FAX,
i don't know what that is, but I like calling it WLDYFL.
Hey Owen! Awesome post! I think the future might get a little worse before it gets a little better... or maybe we get zombies and plastic eating bacteria... wouldn't that be a drag?
ResponderBorrarLook forward to reading you some more!
Cheers,
Hi Owen, I think that in the future there will be cyborgs and many of us will have computer chips embedded in our brains that will connect us to the internet so we will have access to most information at any time. Will that be better? um, I think things will be pretty much the same, But won't it be fun to invent up new technologies.
ResponderBorrarWhat would Heidegger say about all this? Maybe that technology constricts our experience of things as they are. But that is an essentially human activity. Or something like that.
